BREAKING NEWS: Major Pet Food Brand Recalls Food Due To Salmonella

On January, 30, 2019, Woody’s Pet Food Deli is recalling three lots of its raw turkey food for dogs and cats due to a possible salmonella contamination. Testing by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture found salmonella in the food, which led to the recall.

Mayo Clinic defines Salmonella as, “a common bacterial disease that affects the intestinal tract. Salmonella bacteria typically live in animal and human intestines and are shed through feces.”

Salmonella has been the cause of multiple recalls last year.
