Aside from announcing the exciting news, Trisha promoted adopting and animal rescue, “Introducing Millie, our new rescue! (Emmy’s still not quite sure what happened 🐶 🐶) In the spirit of #GivingTuesday let’s bring awareness to the importance of #petadoption & #animalrescue. Millie was the ONLY dog adopted Saturday from #MauryCountyAnimalServices. You can save a life, have a new best friend and give a homeless pet a forever home at the same time. Who knows, you might even adopt one of Millie’s siblings! xoxo #AdoptDontShop”.

Pictures of Millie running with her tongue out and one of her napping next to her new canine sibling accompanied the post. With over 6 million homeless dogs and cats, it is nice to see people promoting adopting. Adopt don’t shop!
