Tim Tebow Breaks Down In Tears Before Saying Goodbye To His Dog

Former NFL star Tim Tebow is mourning the loss of his beloved dog, Bronco, whom he had to put down on Wednesday night.

The 32-year-old Tebow shared the video to his Instagram where he bid farewell to his dog, breaking down in tears as he gave Bronco one final snack.

He also included a bunch of pictures that documented his time with Bronco – with photos going all the way back to when Tebow took Bronco home as a puppy back in 2010.

Tebow added, “Aunt Patty, thank you for loving him, and thank you to all the other people including Miss Shea and Miss Mindy for sharing so much love with Bronco. If you had the pleasure of meeting Bronco, one of the best dogs ever, I would love to hear your story.”

Tebow also included a special acknowledgment of Bronco’s caretakers “SEVO-Med, Blue Pearl Vet and UF Small Animal Vet Hospital” whom he thanked for “taking care of him every time he was sick.”

In 2018 with an AOL.com interview, Tebow revealed that Bronco was a “stud” Rhodesian Ridgeback he received as a gift following his selection as the 25th pick by the Denver Broncos in 2010.

“It made sense when I just got drafted by the Broncos,” he said regarding his dog’s name. “We’ve always liked the name, we always liked that truck, so we talked about it and we were like, yeah, that’s really cool.”

The current baseball player for the Syracuse Mets posted his Bronco tribute to his Twitter as well and included another video of him sitting beside Bronco’s side at the vet, as Bronco was breathing heavily.

Last year, Tebow said to AOL, “For so many people, [dogs] are our best friends and they provide so much joy and love.”

And that is very true. Sending Tebow positive vibes while he mourns his friend.
