Senior Dog With Terminal Cancer Is Desperately Seeking A Forever Home To Enjoy The Rest Of Her Days

Libby, a beautiful 7-year-old Pit Bull, is looking for a forever home. Sadly, time is not on her side. Shortly after she was rescued – she was diagnosed with terminal skin cancer.

Two Tailz Rescue, an animal rescue in Georgia, had multiple surgeries done to try and rid Libby of cancer. Unfortunately, they did not work. No treatment or surgery will be able to save Libby. However, she can be saved in another way. The rescue is now in search of a “hospice foster” for her. Libby is house-trained and does well in a crate. All she needs is a home of her own to relax in.

To appeal to more people, the staff did a photoshoot with Libby. Her beauty and sweet demeanor shines through in each photo. Her sweet eyes are begging for someone to bring her home. The gray in her muzzle only enhances her pretty face.

Libby prefers to be the only dog in the home and will reward you with unlimited cuddles. A few of her favorite things are the sun on her face, doggy ice-cream and watching geese. Recently, she enjoyed a day out with volunteers that included visiting the park and getting a tasty treat.

She is a loving dog that will not let cancer get her down. She enjoys the simple things in life and is waiting for the perfect person to love her unconditionally. If you are interested in fostering her you can contact Two Tailz Rescue.
