Wesley, a six-month-old Golden Retriever puppy, had a lot of teething problems. It turns out that his adult teeth began to grow in wrong, which made it hard for him to close his mouth. Because of this, he wasn’t able to chew. He stopped eating and started losing weight. He also stopped playing with his toys because it hurt too badly for him to chew on them. Thankfully, there was a solution to this problem…an adorable one nonetheless!

Wesley’s human, Molly Moore, took him to her father’s veterinary clinic to get his teeth checked. They wound up putting little braces on him to correct his teeth. Wesley is already back to normal, feeling much better and eating and playing like a normal pup. I can’t say I’ve ever see a dog wearing braces before, but there’s definitely a first for everything! Wesley’s smile is picture perfect!
