Skittish Stray Transforms Into Happy, Healthy Cat Just 2 Months After Adoption
Dinah, a glamorous cat who loves to cuddle and play, enjoys a pampered life. But rescued cat’s early days weren’t easy, at least not until she was discovered by a kind woman who noticed the sick, tiny kitten trying to survive by herself in the streets of LA.
When Molly Sotak first met Dinah, the tiny kitten was lonely, starving, and obviously ill.
Not only was the orphan’s fur dirty and terribly matted, she was battling a nasty infection that had basically glued her young eyes shut.

But even despite her heartbreaking condition, the kitten was terribly frightened of people, who had clearly never shown her kindness. It took Molly days to finally capture the lonely orphan, but she persisted because the kitten clearly needed medical care.

When Molly finally caught Dinah five days later, the Good Samaritan called Stray Cat Alliance, an LA-based cat rescue, for help nursing the tiny kitten back to health. The non-profit provided the kitten with life-saving medical care, and even arranged for an adoptive mom, Rebecca Schnieder, willing to welcome the tiny stray into her home.
But Dinah didn’t just blossom in her forever home; she transformed into an entirely different cat under Rebecca’s watchful care. Now the kitten’s matted fur has re-grown into a lush and beautiful coat, while her blue eyes — once clamped shut with infection — sparkle with joy.

In only two months, the skittish street cat has grown into a healthy, social, and beautiful girl who loves to play with her human, explore her new surroundings, and soaks up attention like a true Hollywood starlet. We’re so happy to see Dinah finally enjoying the VIP life she deserves!
