Buddy, a 14-year-old Michigan Labrador mix, was left alone when his lifetime owner passed away. A rescue group took him in to care for him and noticed that he had some lumps on his body. The veterinarian checked them out and sadly confirmed that Buddy had terminal cancer. But Buddy’s rescuers refused to let him live out the rest of his days in misery.

He got adopted him and his new human came up with a bucket list of things to do with him to make his remaining days the best they can be! Chasing a flock of geese, eating an entire box of treats for dinner, getting a pup cup from Dairy Queen, picking out a new toy at the pet store, and cuddling with his new brother, are just a few of the many items on the bucket list that Buddy has already checked off. Buddy may have had a lot of rough patches lately, but at least now he is loved as much as possible for his final days. You can follow along with Buddy’s bucket list journey on his Facebook page!
