Grumpy Cat Passed Away In The Arms Of Her Mom
It is a sad day for cat lovers around the world.
Grumpy Cat, a seven-year-old feline, known for her distinctive grumpy face and as “the world’s grumpiest cat” has passed away.
Her mother, Tabatha, took to Instagram to announce that Grumpy Cat had passed away peacefully in her arms. She posted, “Some days are grumpier than others…”
A photo was posted with a heartfelt message, “Despite care from top professionals, as well as from her loving family, Grumpy encountered complications from a recent urinary tract infection that unfortunately became too tough for her to overcome. She passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14, at home in the arms of her mommy, Tabatha.”
It went on to say, “Besides being our baby and a cherished member of the family, Grumpy Cat has helped millions of people smile around the world- even when times were tough. Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere.”
Some fans related to her because they are also “grumpy”, while others laughed about her honest opinions. Her grumpy outlook on life, holidays and everyday activities brought joy to so many. The devastating news broke the hearts of her loyal fans. Many took to social media to share their condolences.
One tweeted, “Heartbroken 😥😥😥 Sending my love to Tabatha and all your family. That came as quite the shock.” Another said, “I’m so so sorry. The whole world is sharing your pain. Much love to Tabatha, Brian and Chrystal. We’re all grieving with you.”
