Rescued German Shepherd Loses 50 Pounds And Feels Love For The First Time

Tony is a German Shepherd that was 50 pounds overweight and stuck at an animal shelter. He felt as if there was no hope, but that is when Lee Asher came into his life. After seeing Tony, he decided to provide him with a loving family.

Tony was no slouch, and he needed to lose one-third of his weight. The 150-pound dog was not coordinated and couldn’t even walk up a flight of stairs. Asher provided the perfect home for the dog. There were plenty of other rescue dogs in the home, so Tony had to keep up with them. It wasn’t long before he made new friends and learned how to love.

For anyone who has ever tried to lose weight, what Tony did is an inspiration. It’s not just about him losing weight, however, it’s the fact that he feels accepted and loved during a difficult time in his life. You can see more in this video:

I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.
