Animal Rescue Names Their Dogs After Health Heroes And Essential Workers

Healthcare and essential workers are being honored in a very special way by a dog rescue. Those are the workers that are on the front lines during the coronavirus pandemic. They are being honored by pets being named after those doctors, nurses, and police officers.

The nonprofit organization, Hearts and Bones, is based out of Texas and New York. They are currently collecting names for the rescued pets. People in their communities are being asked to nominate the heroes that are battling the coronavirus pandemic. Some of the dog names that are already chosen include Nurse Ali, Medic Montesino, and Dr. Zhang.

I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.
