7 Puppies Were Living Alone Under A Porch In Dropping Temperatures. They Were Found Just In Time

Seven puppies spent their first weeks of life scrounging for food in the dirt and concrete under an old, broken porch of an abandoned house in Detroit. Their mother wasn’t in sight, and they were left there to fend for themselves in cold temperatures. The future looked bleak for these tiny chow/shepherd mixes, but luckily someone found them and immediately called the Michigan Humane Society.

When the MHS rescue team arrived, the pups were playing in the backyard. But once they grabbed one of them, the other puppies ran back underneath the porch. Since it was a tight space, it took a while to retrieve all of the pups from under it.

Eventually they got each puppy and rushed them to the MHS Detroit Center for Animal Care. They were examined by a veterinarian and were thankfully given a clean bill of health! They got treated and bathed and each one was already adopted! Watch how adorable they are in the video below:
