When He Was Diagnosed With Cancer, He Was Given 3 Months To Live. But A Year Later, Look At Him Now

When a couple found out their dog Rags had cancer, they were absolutely devastated. And to make matters worse, he was given only three months to live.

They began researching options and with help from their local vet, they found a program through Colorado State University, which gave Rags more time. They knew it would be costly, but money was not the main concern for them; saving Rags was.

They wound up spending nearly $15,000, and although pet insurance is available, pricing differs depending on the treatment and the cancer.

Now, a year after his final treatment, Rags is cancer-free!

When he arrived at the vet’s office, no one thought he’d have as many happy and healthy days as he has, and the best part is that he has many more ahead of him.

Vets say it’s important to learn about all of the different treatment options, so that your dog has the best possible chance of beating the disease.
