This Frenchie Spent A Year Living In A Hole! Her Saviors Gave Her A Much Deserved Second Chance!
Pika is French Bulldog that was found by police when they went to investigate an illegal chop-shop in Los Angeles. She was found in the backyard in a hole and at first the officers didn’t even recognize that she was a dog. She was hairless and completely covered in grime, so the officers at the scene decided to take her to the Riverside County Animal Services where she could receive the help she needed.
Those officers saved her life that day. The hole she was found in was completely covered by a wooden plank and she had been living in it for a year and had developed diseases such as mange, and various infections in her eyes and ears. Riverside County Animal Rescue Services sent Pika onto the Luvable Dog Rescue in Oregon where she was rehabilitated.
Her rough start in life really turned around once she arrived at Luvable Dog Rescue. She was able to receive the treatment that she needed and was given the chance to be the health pooch that she was always meant to be. But her return to health wasn’t the only thing she found at Luvable Dog Rescue, she also found her forever home!
Pika is now living with her new mom, the director of Luvable Dog Rescue, Liesl Wilhardt. Along with a new mom, Pika has also gained a ton of new siblings! Pika is now enjoying her life. She enjoys spending time with her siblings and showing just how much she loves them by showering them with kisses every chance that she gets. Pika’s transformation is truly a miracle. She went from living a life shrouded in darkness to living one full of love, happiness, and the sun.
