People Are Playing Tic-Tac-Toe With Their Pets To Pass The Time In Quarantine
The boredom is real. Because of the current global pandemic, people have been cooped up in their homes for weeks – the price we pay for helping the healthcare workers get a grasp on COVID-19. But while we’re spending inordinate amounts of time at home, some of us are coming up with creative ways of entertaining ourselves. There are the people who are using the time at home to get a handle on their different hobbies and projects, while others are catching up on their binge-watching. And of course, there are the pet owners who are turning to their pets now more than ever for help keeping entertained.
And we’re so thankful because it means that TikTok is full of bored pet owners uploading various videos of their pets. The results are incredibly precious.
What seems to be quite popular is people playing tic tac toe with their pets, and it’s adorable!
TikTok user, @iqraanabi, had a game night with her cat that she uploaded to the social media site, citing that her cat is actually a “sore loser.” We’d expect nothing less from a cat!

As it turns out, the game can also be played with turtles too! We’d imagine they’re less competitive than a cat.
Another Twitter user, Mattew Foldi, demonstrated how this game with turtles is possible after drawing a game board on his turtle’s glass tank.
He captioned it, “How’s nationwide self-quarantine going?”

Other people commented that it must be a solution to beat the boredom that comes from a lack of live sports.

Another Twitter user, @Nagato_Pyon, also shared a video that featured a show down of the game played with her pet rabbit. But the game didn’t go as planned, since the little black bunny just wanted to eat the paper instead of play the game.

While these pets may not be the best at playing tic tac toe, there is no way you can deny that it’s entertaining AF to watch them try. This is the kind of COVID-19 content that we all need right now. Hang in there, we’ll all get through it together!
