Briana Schaefer and her fiancé, Kevin, got married on November 4 at Stan Mansion in Chicago. They were surrounded by family and friends on the happiest day of their lives, but there was one guest who Schaefer could not imagine getting married without being there: her four-year-old Golden Retriever, Norah.

Norah is part of the family too, and Schaefer didn’t even hesitate to make Norah part of her wedding. Norah and another little girl walked down the aisle together as flower girls. Norah looked adorable and wore a beautiful handmade necklace of flowers.

Schaefer’s wedding guests were not surprised that she included Norah in the wedding, as the two of them are inseparable. Schaefer got Norah when she was just a puppy and she takes her everywhere with her.

Schaefer isn’t the first person to include her dog in her wedding. This couple’s dying dog lived to walk down the aisle at their wedding. And this veteran made his service dog the best man at his wedding!
