They Were Golfing In Florida. When They Got To The Third Hole, They Never Expected To See THIS!
A group of people were golfing at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto, Florida, when something extremely unexpected happened. An alligator began walking across the course, but this wasn’t just any average alligator, he was HUGE!
Charles Helms, one of the golfers there, immediately took out his phone to record the alligator as he walked nearby him at the third hole. “He was at a pretty safe distance,” Helms told Golf.com. “This alligator was so large, he would only move slowly about 100 feet at a time before having to lie down and rest so he probably wasn’t in as much danger as it may have appeared. An alligator expert may refute that; I’m just going on what I have been told.”
Apparently this is not an unusual sight at Buffalo Creek. Employees say he has been around there for a very long time and comes and goes as he pleases. People have guessed that he’s 15 to 16 feet long. According to KSNV, the largest alligator ever recorded in Florida was 14 feet long and weighed more than 780 pounds. This guy might have that one beat! Take a look at this massive gator in the video below:
