Man In Quarantine Sends His Dog To The Store With A Note Asking For Cheetos
Most of us are on lockdown thanks to the current coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping the globe. As a result, going out for anything that is not deemed essential, is not really an option. And one man, Antonio Muñoz from Mexico, came up with a brilliant way of getting his snack on without necessarily needing to leave the house to go to his local market.
When Muñoz got a craving for Cheetos while in self-isolation, he didn’t really feel like breaking the social distancing code, but at the same time, he really wanted Cheetos. So, what was his genius idea? He sent his Chihuahua instead. Muñoz decided to get a little help from his pet, Chokis, in getting his Cheetos. What Muñoz ended up doing, was strapping some money and a note to Chokis’s collar, then sending the little pup on her way to the store across the street.
The note that he attached read, “Hello Mr. Shopkeeper. Please sell my dog some Cheetos, the orange kind, not the red ones, they’re too hot. She has $20 attached to her collar. WARNING: She will bite if not treated right. Your front neighbor.”
Incredibly, Chokis completed her task without a hitch. Muñoz was quite proud of the little dog, so he shared some pictures to his Facebook, along with the message, “Day three of quarantine. I wanted my Cheetos.”
Since posting, apparently Chokis has become a full-time snack-getter for him, as she has since completed two other successful snack runs for Muñoz. Little Chokis is earning her keep for sure.
We all need a snack dog in this pandemic!
