Man Drives Around Town Rescuing Puppies That Were Dumped In Trashcans

The cruelty of some people is just shocking. It baffles me how some people can just abandon an animal in the garbage like it’s nothing. It’s this sort of callousness that makes me weep for humanity. But there are some good people out there who make it their mission to help those who don’t have voices of their own and can’t speak out against the injustices done to them.

One angel of a man makes it his job every single day to rescue puppies from the garbage. Takis is an animal rescuer who lives in Greece. He’s made it his mission to do everything that he can to save and help as many dogs as he can. Greece is a county in which there is a lack of spay and neuter programs, and as a result, they often face issues of overpopulation and unwanted litters.

This means that a lot of people either throw away unwanted animals in the garbage, or they drive out of town just to abandon them. It’s cold, it’s heartless, and there needs to be more community educational programs to spread the awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering.

Takis is someone who is committed to doing right by these helpless animals. Whenever he finds dogs in need, he brings them back to the shelter that he runs – a shelter that has more than 500 dogs! He does his best to care for all the animals he has, heavily relying on donations to help keep them fed and happy. Takis also does his best to make sure that the animals, especially the puppies, end up going off to loving, forever homes.
