Severely Abused Puppy Left to Die in Landfill

A group of people went to a Georgia landfill to dispose of trash, but were shocked at what they found. They saw a cardboard box and peered inside to a horrific scene. The box was full of dead puppies, but then one moved.

All the puppies were dead except one. However, that one was in bad shape. The poor thing endured severe abuse and would need a lot of medical attention. They noticed the puppy’s mouth was swollen and not sure if the puppy would survive. The good samaritans rushed the puppy to a local shelter. That shelter called Rescue Dogs Rock NYC and asked them if they would take the six-week-old puppy in.

The rescue of course said yes. They named the puppy Madison and went to social media to ask for financial help. The rescue posted, “You can see the swelling on the side of her face & the vet says it’s a fracture. Her teeth on that side of her head now are facing backwards, going in the wrong direction!!! Of course, baby Madison did not do this to herself.”

Madison is a miracle puppy but she has suffered immensely. Her siblings were also abused before being dumped at the landfill. “Despite likely being hit with some type of hard object, she defied the odds & lived. Sadly, her siblings were not so lucky,” the rescue states.

People are outraged by this unthinkable act and are searching for the person who did it. Many said why not bring the unwanted puppies to a shelter?! Meanwhile, Madison is at the vet being evaluated. “Madison is on strong pain meds & antibiotics tonight & will have x-rays in the morning. Her head, face & mouth were so painful, her doctor did not want to push her any further tonight.”

The rescue is asking everyone to keep sweet Madison in their thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, she will make a full recovery. Check their facebook page for updates on Madison.
