We may just be going into the summer months, but it’s never too late to start thinking about autumn – especially since it’s looking like summer 2020 is pretty much canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Granted, while most of the summer will have to be spent still staying at home whenever possible, there will be some places that we can go – like home stores and garden centers.

And given that most of us will be having pretty low-key summers this year, it’s safe to assume that many of us will be visiting stores like Home Depot or Lowes in order to keep occupied on different projects around the house. But the good news is that if you’re visiting Lowes, you may actually be finding a pretty cool surprise in that the store is actually selling matching outfits for you and your dog!

Yes, you read that correctly. You can now pick up matching flannel outfits for you and your dog to wear together. I told you that now would be a good time to start thinking ahead to autumn!

Lowes has begun selling quite the range of flannelette shirts for you and your dog to choose from – I’m sure you could get a set for every day of the week if you so desired.

Lowes’ website made the announcement, “Your pooch will be the envy of all their four-legged friends while wearing their warm and cosy Flannelette shirt.Perfect for letting your pup join in the fun on your next backyard BBQ, or chilled out walk!”

The shirts will only run you around $16, which is not a bad price at all – especially since you’ll probably be spending way more on home DIY projects while there. Plus, if you think about it, it’ll be a very great investment for all those pictures that you’ll be taking of you and your dog twinning.

The store even has a range of Hawaiian shirts if you would prefer twinning with your dog at an outdoor bbq for one this summer. When Lowes debuted their new line, people were understandably surprised but also quite pumped for the new shirts. Lowes’ original post of the announcement was met with plenty of comments and shares, as well as hundreds of likes.

Of course, that just means that now that the shirts are available, you need to move fast if you want some. And to be honest, who wouldn’t want to twin with their dog?
