Little Boy Spends His Gift Money To Help Shelter Dogs In Need, Causing Thousands To Do The SameCorey Cross-Hansen
Most four-year-old kids spend their holiday money on a new toy or stuffed animal, but not Jaxton Betschart. Instead, Jaxton decided to use that money to help shelter dogs find their forever home. Jaxton’s mother, Elyse Betschart, was amazed by her son’s inspiring attitude and recently brought him to the Charleston Animal Society to help waive two dog’s adoption fees. Jaxton was given a very difficult task, deciding which pups he wanted to waive the adoption fees for. He of course wanted to waive all their adoption fees but came across Penelope, a beautiful black and white pup that he called “Spot”. As he was going up to pay for Penelope AKA Spot’s adoption fee, he fell in love with another puppy named Tank. “Mommy! He’s big and chunky just like me!” he exclaimed, according to iHeartDogs. He also said that he’d love to adopt him so they could play Incredible Hulk together, but his mom sadly said no. However, Jaxton was ecstatic to find out that he could be Tank’s Guardian Angel and help him find a perfect home! Then, a CAS employee snapped a picture of Jaxton with Tank that melted over 6,000 people’s hearts….
