A bald eagle, later named ‘Trust,’ was seen injured and unable to fly while walking in the woods. Someone then called first responders who came to help the bird. An officer wrapped her in towels and then brought to a wildlife rehab center that specializes in birds. They believe Trust was hit by a car as she was eating on the side of the road.

The injuries she sustained was a shoulder injury and some internal bleeding, but thankfully she was able to get the medical attention needed and is on her journey to recovery. She is doing well so far and they plan to release her back into the wild once she is fully healthy. If no one helped Trust, she most likely would not have survived. Fortunately she will be back to her normal self in no time!
