Street Dog Covered In Fleas And Ticks Collapses In Front Of Woman Begging To Be Rescued
Dogs are some of the most loyal animals that you can ever hope to meet. All they want to do is make their humans happy.
When they are given the chance to live with loving families, that is when they truly have a chance to shine. Fortunately, there is no shortage of kind and gentle souls out there who are willing to help out.
Beginning of last February I kept on seeing a beautiful cream colored stray dog on the streets down in the Osa Peninsula…

Tania Cappelluti was on her way to a yoga retreat in Costa Rica and saw a street dog that was in desperate need of help. But she soon realized that saving this stray was not going to be as easy as she thought.
Tania also happened to be one of the founders of Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue, an organization dedicated to the rescue of abandoned animals.
She jumped out of the car and tried to give the dehydrated dog some water but the dog ran off.
Tania couldn’t stop thinking about the poor dog and returned the next day to try and find her, “I couldn’t stop thinking about him, especially after I stopped once and gave him some water… he was so shy… there was no chance that I could have caught him.”
On a boiling hot day, they returned to try and find the dog. Then all of a sudden, they saw the dog sitting on the side of a dusty road.
She jumped out of the car to check on the dog who immediately fell to the ground and started crying, “She was covered in fleas and ticks and was extremely dehydrated. But the sweetest soul…”
“We gave her water and a bit of food. She could hardly hold herself up…”
The dog was given medical attention, a foster home, lots of love, and food to eat.
“She lives with a lovely lady from France in a beautiful cool house and already knows how to give high fives! YAY YAY YAY!!!”
HIGH FIVES!!!!!Gaia with her new mom Johanna from France! <3
