Puppy With Severe Mange Is Slowly Transformed, But Never Loses His Sense Of Happiness Along The Way

This adorable puppy, named Henry, who’s thought to be around seven or eight months old, came to Vet Ranch with horrible demodectic mange. He had really bad scabs all over his body and was missing hair all over. The hair that was still left was extremely thin.

The first thing they did was bathe him and start him on treatment. Two weeks later, all of the scabs were gone and Henry was looking much better. Although his hair hadn’t begun to fully grow back in yet, and he still had a long way to go.

One month after he arrived at Vet Ranch, his scabs were 100 percent gone and his hair was finally starting to grow in. With his hair coming back in, he’s starting to look like a whole new dog!

At the end of his transformation, two and a half months after his treatment began, he’s looking amazing! He is so happy and energetic, and it’s so heartwarming to see him running around outside, wagging his tail a mile a minute.

Despite whatever this poor pup had been through, he was always positive and always happy, but now he won’t have to be in pain any longer. We hope the rest of his life is as amazing as he is! If you’re interested in adopting Henry, contact renee.nank@sanantoniopetsalive.org
