Harvey Waters Rise Around Stranded Horse. Rescuers Know That They Have Limited Time…
A lone, frightened and stranded horse can be seen standing in rushing and rising flood waters during Hurricane Harvey in Texas. A video taken by firefighter Jeremy Brumley of the horse’s rescue by the College Station Fire Department’s B-Shift is as moving as it is courageous. According to the College Station Fire Department’s Facebook page, it took many men and women of the fire department along with The Veterinary Emergency Team at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to assist in the daring rescue. Here is how it unfolded:
