Ham and Cheese Treats [Recipe]FamilyPet
These treats might not be pretty, but they are grain-free and gluten-free, so I’m sure your sensitive pup wont mind how they look. Besides cheese!
Parchment paper or a silicone baking mat
1/2 cup Ham, cooked and chopped
1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 cup Buckwheat Flour
1/4 cup Milk
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
2. In a large bowl mix all ingredients one at a time, kneading well after each addition.
3. Once dough is well mixed roll dough into 1/2 inch balls and place them onto the prepared baking sheet. Press down on the tops to flatten (it may help to rub a little vegetable oil on your hands so the dough wont stick).
4. Place on your prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, the cheese will bubble and brown slightly.
Cool and refrigerate.
Makes 2 to 3 dozen rounds.
