Frozen Cat Brought Back To Life

This story proves that cats have nine lives.

The temperature in Kalispell, Montana was just ten degrees above zero when an unresponsive cat was found “essentially frozen” in the snow outside her home. Fluffy, an outdoor cat, was found by her owner frozen with giant snowballs clinging to her long hair.

The woman scooped up the cat and rushed her to the Animal Clinic of Kalispell. Dr. Jevon Clark recalled that Fluffy’s temperature was so low when she arrived that it did not register on the thermometer – which had a bottom range of 90 degrees.

The medical staff slowly attempted to raise Fluffy’s body temperature with warm blankets and warm water. After a few hours, the cat’s temperature finally started to rise. She recovered completely and is at home with her family – where she will now be an indoor cat.

The clinic posted the remarkable story on Facebook stating, “Amazing success and survival story from this week. Some clients found their injured cat buried in snow. They brought her to us essentially frozen and unresponsive. Her temperature was very low but after many hours she recovered and is now completely normal. Fluffy is amazing!”

It is a miracle that she survived such cold temperatures. Her story has gone viral with people from across the country praising the medical staff for saving Fluffy. Please remember to bring in your outdoor cats when temperatures are dangerously low.
