This Woman Is Helping Empty An Animal Shelter For The Holidays In An Amazing Way

One woman in Sacramento, California, is helping empty the Front Street Animal Shelter in an amazing way. She’s paying for every single adoption until 2017.

The woman, Kim Pacini-Hauch, a local real estate agent, agreed to pay for the cost of any pet adoptions through December 31.

With her help, hundreds of animals have already been adopted. And now they get to spend the holidays in a loving home instead of a lonely kennel.

Dog adoptions are usually $85, and adoption fees for cats cost around $65, but thanks to Pacini-Hauch, they are now free! Of course the screening process for adoptions remain the same to make sure the animal is the best possible fit for you and your family.

If you live in the Sacramento area and would like to check out their animals, the Front Street shelter is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. on the weekend. They’re closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

When she isn't writing, you can find her curled up on the couch with a kindle in her hands and her Guinea Pigs on her lap.
