Support The Emergency Animal Care Fund And Save Shelter Pet Lives

After 20 years and over $60 million raised to make a meaningful impact in lives around the world, GreaterGood.com is relaunching with a new look, and a renewed commitment to lending support where it matters most.

For the last 7 years, your clicks at the GreaterGood website have helped support hundreds of small projects that aid people, pets, and the planet. In just the last few weeks, you have helped fund specialized care programs for those living with Alzheimer’s, you have improved the likelihood of adoption for often-anxious shelter pets, and you’ve helped us donate 1,000 books to children in need.

This support has changed lives, and on the all-new GreaterGood.com, it will now be amplified across 24 of our most impactful programs and partnerships.

One of those programs is helping save the lives of shelter animals like Dudley, who was found abandoned and stuffed in a box in the dead of winter.

The last employee at the Missouri City, TX, shelter was leaving when she heard a faint whimper and went to investigate. She found a puppy whose collar was so tight that it had to be cut off just so he could breathe.

Jurassic Bark Rescue took Dudley in, and it soon became clear just how much he had endured: Demodex Mange, Bronchial Pneumonia, malnourishment, bacterial infections, Heartworms, and a painful bone deformity that made every step he took incredibly painful.

Despite his condition, Dudley was lovable and cuddly. Just taking a few steps was painful, but he still tried to run and play every day. Jurassic Bark was able to treat Dudley for most of his conditions, but the surgery needed to correct his bone deformity was just out of their reach.

The rescue reached out to GreaterGood, and thanks to the generosity of donors like you we were able to fully fund Dudley’s surgery with our Emergency Animal Care Fund so he can run pain free and be adopted into the loving home he deserves.

Unfortunately, Dudley’s sad story is not uncommon. Shelters and rescues across the country deal with animals who need emergency surgeries, treatments, or other urgent care on a daily basis. With your help, we can ensure that more animals who are suffering receive the treatment they need.
