They Were Out On Their Boat When They Saw Him Drowning. They Got There Just In Time…

A man was out on his boat, sailing on Somerset Reservoir in Vermont with his son, when they spotted a little squirrel struggling to stay afloat in the water. He was trying to swim to shore, but the distance from one side to the other was about three quarters of a mile. He was already so exhausted that he likely would have drowned before he reached it.

Thankfully, they saw the squirrel and immediately went close to him. They got him to come aboard their boat, where he was able to catch his breath. He was soaking wet and you could tell that he was relieved to be rescued. Once he was on the boat, they sailed to the shore to set him free. These guys just happened to be sailing on their boat in the right place at the right time!
