A Donkey Was Rescued From High Floodwaters… His Expression Of Gratitude After? PRICELESS.

This poor donkey was helplessly stranded in rising floodwaters in Killorglin, Ireland, but was fortunately saved thanks to a group of kind-hearted humans. The donkey’s owner put the news out there about his lost donkey, and Animal Heaven Animal Rescue posted on Facebook for help. A man named Mike Fleming of the Killorglin rowing club came with his boat to help save the day.

Him and the rescuers used a rope and put a floatation device around the donkey’s neck as they carefully reeled him into safety. The donkey was then named Mike, after his rescuer. Mike will go back to his owner once he’s better and the floods are gone. In the meantime, he is relaxing under heat lamps at AHAR and getting the care he needs.
