Generous People Donated Food And Supplies After Shelter Ran Out
The Ashtabula County Animal Protective League has received a great deal of assistance from a group of concerned donors. When the shelter issued a plea to their Facebook page about their need for dry dog food, they never could have expected what would happen next. In a world where shelters like this one struggle to find assistance, this story is a true heart warmer.
Several people were more than willing to offer donations of dry dog food but their benevolence did not end there. The shelter was beyond grateful for the help that they had received. As you might have imagined, the animals at this location were also grateful. Without this assistance, who knows what might have happened to these shelter pets otherwise?
Now that the holidays are rapidly approaching and these animals require more help, the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League is looking for added assistance from anyone that is willing to provide it. While they are happy for the donations that they have received up until this point, these donors can only provide so much help.
