Mischievous Dogs Sneak Into Mail Truck And Steal Delicious Package

Dogs are curious and have a tendency to follow their nose – even if it leads them into trouble.

Bear and Bull, two 6-year-old rescue Labrador-mixes, are best buds and do everything together. Usually they are busy digging holes and finding things to chew. One afternoon, the duo was up to their usual routine, when the mail truck pulled up.

The postal worker got out of the truck to deliver a package to the home, never expecting the two dogs to wander over to her truck. She left her door open to her truck, like usual. However, Bear and Bull’s noses caught a scent that led them straight to the postal worker’s lunch.

She left her lunch on the seat, which consisted of an egg, carrots, and pumpkin seeds. The dogs quickly ate her lunch before she returned to the truck. However, there were not fans of the carrots and spit those out in the yard.

As soon as she realized what had happened, she left a note in the mailbox of the dogs’ home. The note read, “Hey! I drove up to deliver a package and both of the dogs crawled in my truck. They got into my lunch and ate an egg and some carrots and pumpkin seeds. I don’t know if that will upset their tummies, just FYI!” She wanted to make sure the dogs were going to be ok.

Carol Jordan, mom of the two dogs, found the note in her mailbox. She responded by purchasing a gift card for the woman, and attached an apology note from the dogs. “Sorry we ate your lunch. Thank you for sharing! P.S. Our humans said, ‘Thank you’ for leaving a note. We didn’t like the note. We got in trouble.”

Of course the dogs did not get in trouble. Dogs will be dogs. Jordan did post a photo on Facebook with status “Wall of Shame”. Their story has gone viral. It is impossible not to chuckle.
