A police officer risked his own life when he saw a dog drowning and being swept away in a flash-flood swollen river in Salgar, Columbia. In a very dramatic rescue, the officer jumps off of the rocks into the river ahead of the dog and waits for him to get pulled by. He quickly grabs ahold of him and hands him to another officer who lifts him over the rocks. They place the dog on the ground and immediately give him CPR. They then carry him to their patrol car and hook him up to an IV. Thanks to the officers, the pup made a full recovery! Watch the incredible rescue below:
