Dogs are loyal companions that only ask for love and proper care. With dogs you get way more in return than you give.

A beautiful male Australian Shepherd was found abandoned at Long Island Welcome Center. The sweet dog was found in the dog pen on the property without any food or water. The staff retrieved the security footage from the night before and found the dog’s owner abandoned him in the middle of the night.

A man wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and shorts was captured on the security camera driving a dark SUV, thought to be a Chevy Tahoe. At 9:50pm he pulled into the Long Island Welcome Center. The footage shows he had two dogs on leashes that he put in the dog pen. Then he goes back for one, leaving the male behind.

In the video you see the abandoned dog trying to exit the gate with his owner and the other dog. He longingly looks at them as they walk away. The poor dog must have been wondering why he was being left behind.
