Robbers Broke Into Family’s Home And Tried To Kidnap Baby, Then Their Dog Stepped In To Save Them

Nayeli Garzon-Jimenez was on the phone with her husband, Adolfo, when she heard a sound at the back door. Since her husband was at work, she went to go check what the nose was. Garzon immediately started screaming and crying when she realized that two armed robbers, a man and woman, had come into her Indianapolis home after breaking through the back door.

The man demanded money or else they’d take Garzon’s baby, but Garzon said she didn’t have any. That’s when they took the baby. Garzon fought with the woman and grabbed her shirt, but the man came and hit her with a gun. The woman ran toward the back door with the baby, trying to escape the house, but it wasn’t as easy as she thought.

One of the family’s dogs was at the back door, barking at the robbers and not allowing them to get through the door. That’s when they ran toward the front door and threw the baby back at Garzon.

Garzon and her three-month-old baby girl were treated and released at Wishard Hospital. Garzon had a cut on her forehead and some bruises, but thankfully the baby was unharmed.

The suspects fled from the scene in their van, and police immediately went searching for them. Thankfully the family is okay. Their dog is a true hero!
