Man Takes His Beloved Senior Dog For Walks On A Cart, Because He Can No Longer Walk

Dogs love being with us and benefit from a daily walk. A sweet Italian man figured out a way to take his 13-year-old dog for a daily walk when severe arthritis set it.

Dylan, the beloved lab, is unable to use his hind legs because of arthritis. His health has declined a bit over the years. His heart is weaker and has shortness of breath. However, that did not stop his caring dad, Vitale from taking him on walks. Dylan thanks his dad with a delighted bark. The pair are a perfect fit as both are in their golden years. Life is enjoyed by both, but at a slower pace.

Vitale designed a cart that Dylan can ride on to get a bit of fresh air. Vitale easily pushes the custom cart down the road. It is equipped with an umbrella for those rainy days. Even though Dylan cannot walk the way he used to, he enjoys his new walks. A photo of the two on one of their walks hit the internet and immediately went viral.

A man that specializes in giving animals their mobility back, Alessandro Ortalo, was so touched by their story he gave Vitale a special harness. The harness will make it easier for him to lift Dylan onto the cart each day. This sweet man just wants his best friend to enjoy whatever time he has left.

The two have been through a lot together. Dylan was there for Vitale when he lost his mother. They are living each moment to the fullest. As long as the two are together, they are happy.
