Puppy And Cat BFFs Have To Say Their Final Goodbyes After He Gets Adopted
We all love our friends. When we form bonds with people we expect them to last forever. Unfortunately, that is not how life works. Sometimes we have to say goodbye to dear friends along the way. Whether through falling outs or just life getting in the way, not all friendships are meant to last.
Sometimes in life, our friends have to move away. And it’s a very sad experience. I’m sure most of us have experienced the sadness that is seeing a friend leave. For one cat and puppy pairing, their friendship was a temporary situation. But there is no doubt that their love for each other is enduring.
Ms. Cheerio’s family raises show dogs. The cat has been very comfortable being around dogs. So when one of the family’s show dogs have a litter of 9 puppies, Ms. Cheerio was more than happy to get involved.
As the owner, Corrinne Minnard shared that the cat became very close to the adorable little pup named Elvis. She and Elvis had been buddies since he was born. The cat even helped to raise him and shared a special bond with him.
However, Elvis was never meant to stay with the family and was meant to eventually go on to find his own forever home. But because he was the last one to be picked up by a forever family, he had plenty of time to form a deep friendship with Ms. Cheerio.
Unfortunately, these two had to say goodbye when it was time for him to go off to his new life. While they may not be together any longer, their love for one another will definitely carry on. We have no doubt they will miss each other very much. But the two were able to share a final goodbye. It was definitely a heart-warming moment that moved the internet.
