Rescuers Had To Save A Dog From Train Tracks. But, One Wrong Move Could Equal DisasterCorey Cross-Hansen
Diesel might not be alive today, if it wasn’t for the heroes from Hope For Paws. He was living by the L.A. River in California, only a few feet from train tracks when his rescuers came to the rescue. The area was wide open and dangerous in every direction, so they knew they had to do it right the first time or risk him running into even further danger. Eldad, one of the rescuers, decided it was best to catch the scared pup with a net, making sure he couldn’t run onto the tracks once he was caught. But Diesel seemed to know exactly why they were there, because he didn’t fight at all once the net was on him.
The dog definitely seemed skiddish once people started to huddle around him, but he immediately jumped into one of his rescuer’s arms once he was leashed and freed from the nets. This warms my heart to see that this tiny dog had all the reasons in the world to go crazy when someone threw a net on him, but he was able to realize good people in this world who were just trying to help him.
Diesel stays with his friends at Rescue from the Hart, where he is getting the medical attention he needs while waiting for his furever home. If you’d like to apply to adopt Diesel, please check out their website.
