This Pit Bull Was Chained To A Tree For Years And Never Knew What It Felt Like To Be Inside

He was finally unchained and with the beginning of his new life, he was also given a new name: Chance. His new name represented his second chance at life.

Although Chance was now finally rescued, he still has a long way to recovery. His fur and skin are a mess from being outside for so many years, he needs to be neutered, and unfortunately he is also heartworm positive.

Eventually, when Chance is all better, he will be available for adoption. But for now, he is enjoying life at his foster home in Virginia.

“The tail just keeps wagging, and it looks as though he is smiling,” foster mom Alissa Campbell told The Dodo. “He just wants love, they all do.”

Now that Cane has become Chance and is in his new life, Spencer is at ease. “It makes me cry,” she told The Dodo. “He’s living the high life. I don’t have to worry about him anymore.”

You can follow Chance in his new life and road to recovery on his Facebook page.
