The Internet Has Fallen In Love With This Blue-Eyed, Chocolate Brown Husky
It’s no secret that people love dogs, and there are plenty of dogs that have social media accounts that human influencers would salivate over. That includes a special chocolate brown dog, SeQuoi.
People are going crazy for the looks of this dog. After all, he has a brown coat and blue eyes, even though he is fully Siberian Husky.
SeQuoi (Quoi for short) and his owner are looking for a new home and are traveling the United States to find one. The journey is being documented on Instagram, and there are over 50,000 people following along.
Nikki, Quoi’s human, explained to My Modern Met what is behind the unusual name. She said: “His first name SeQuoi, is after a sequoia tree.”
Since a sequoia tree is big and tall, she recognized that the dog had a similar personality.
Nikki also talks about how Quoi often gets a lot of attention because of his unusual coloring. It is rare to have a husky that is all brown, so it’s easy to see why people are interested.
“I get asked at least three-five times by strangers ‘what is he?’ and when I say ‘Siberian Husky,’ no one ever believes me, but he is AKC certified and is 100% Siberian Husky,” Nikki shared with My Modern Met.
Nikki was looking for an older dog to rescue but, since she doesn’t have a permanent home, she couldn’t take one from the animal sanctuary. That is when she met Quoi and brought him home as a puppy.
She said that going the “puppy route” was the only choice she had to get a dog. It may not have been what she wanted at first, but he turned out to be “exactly the dog I needed.”
