BREAKING NEWS: Blue Buffalo has announced a voluntary recall of certain lots of Homestyle Recipe Healthy Weight, Chicken Dinner with Garden Vegetables due to possible aluminum metal contamination.
Ingestion of metal can lead to choking on discomfort, and, in worst cases, result in death. Please see the affected products below.
Why was it recalled?
This product is being voluntarily recalled as a precautionary measure due to metal contamination that could potentially be a choking hazard to pets. According to a Blue Buffalo statement, no other products are involved in the recall, which was prompted without reports of injury or illness.
What can you do?
If your dog shows signs of discomfort or choking please contact your veterinarian immediately.
