This Blind Senior Dog Was Trapped In A Well For Weeks. Watch As He Is Finally Pulled Up To Safety!

Unsure of how this poor pup got there (whether it was an accident of an act of cruelty), he fell about 26 feet into a cold, dark well in Bosnia. He was stuck there for weeks, maybe months, and the only reason he even survived was because of local kids who threw food down to him. When the animal rescue group Harmony Fund, of Holden, Massachusetts, heard about this dog, they knew they had had to rescue him as soon as possible.

A man wearing a safety harness and hat made his way down the well to retrieve the blind, scared dog. He put a harness on the pup and the team pulled him up to safety. Thankfully, the dog, later named ‘Christmas,’ was in good physical condition. He is now in foster care where he is waiting to find his furever home. Now Christmas can get taken care of and doesn’t have to be scared and alone anymore!
