Adoption Event Specifically for Animals with Black Fur Offers Discount Based on Color

Animal shelters have been a significant help in finding better homes for animals under their care. These organizations go to great lengths to provide them a home where those animals are nurtured with genuine love and care. Events and special promotions are presented to attract potential pet parents. Most of the animals available for adoption are rescued and have most likely experienced trauma. For this reason, it is only suitable to give them to a family who would never neglect them, and the shelters work hard to make sure each pet gets a good home.

The LA Animal Services recently opened their shelter for people who are interested in adopting animals with black fur. They called the event “Basic Black.” They provided a discount of $50 for those adopting dogs with black fur. As for cat adoptions, all fees were waived for felines in a black coat. Every animal presented at the event was already spayed, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Aside from the LA Animal Services, the Pasadena Humane Society offered free adoptions for all animals residing in their shelter. It opened its doors on Saturday. According to the President and CEO of Pasadena Humane, summer is the peak season for animal shelters. Their organization is filled with animals, even though they already held a similar adoption event last May. Pasadena Humane successfully found homes for 53 cats, 12 dogs, and 3 other critters.

“It’s critical that we find homes for the adoptable dogs, cats, and critters at the shelter to make space for more pets in need,” Dia DuVernet said. Due to the urgency of the matter, an adoption event will be opening from July 22 up until July 24. The event title is Best Friends National Adoption, wherein potential pet parents can take home adult dogs and cats for $50. I strive to learn and excel more in content creation, including blog writing, graphic design, social media posts, and video editing. Photography is one of those skills that I take an interest in. However, I do not use my photography skills for work as I treat the activity as my hobby. My usual subjects are my pets and loved ones. The lovely fur babies at home make photography even more fun, especially now that I am in a remote setup for work.
