Pregnant Dog Dragged From Trunk And Left To Die On Black Friday

The Campbell County shelter was the site where someone abandoned a pregnant dog a week ago. This was reported by the organization, Friends of Campbell County Animal Control.

A person is seen taking the pregnant dog from a car trunk and dragging it to a fenced area before leaving on surveillance images.

The dog had to stay all night chained to the fence because it wasn’t found until the next morning.

We've been given the go-ahead to post these photos to see if anyone recognizes the vehicle or the parties involved in…

On a Facebook post, FOAC included the pictures from the surveillance cameras and said that the person who abandoned the dog may not be the owner. The dog may have been stolen, taken from someone else’s driveway or may even be part of a dispute in the neighborhood or among family members.

If anyone has information on what is happening, it should be reported to Campbel County dispatch at 434-592-9574
