Billie Eilish Adopts The Puppy That She Was Fostering While Social Distancing
Billie Eilish has adopted a puppy!
The 18-year-old singer posted to her Instagram story earlier in the week that she had adopted one of the puppies that she’d been fostering. She shared the news by uploading a picture along with the caption, “As for this little nameless monkey… you are miiiiiiiiiiiine!!!”
This is coming at a great time as she quarantines at her parents’ house in Los Angeles during the pandemic.
“It sounds so introverted and loner-ish, but I’ve been really enjoying being alone,” she revealed during an interview with the German Telekom Electronic Beats podcast.
Regarding the time away from people, Eilish said, “It’s been nice. I feel like everybody on the Internet has been talking about, like, they’ve been on FaceTime all day long with their friends.”
She added that it’s given her a lot of downtime – something that is a nice break from a normally hectic schedule.
“I love my friends, I can’t wait to see them, I do miss them a lot, but at the same time, I’m good,” she added. “I’m good being alone — I like being alone … I haven’t had this much time off since I was 12.”
While on the podcast, she spoke a lot about the two foster puppies that she was looking after, adding that “more people” should look at fostering animals.
Our puppies can’t get enough of Billie Eilish! We were so excited to hear that Billie is a fellow animal lover and…
“They need it,” she said.
While she adopted one puppy, the other puppy she was fostering ended up having their own happy ending as well. She also revealed on her Instagram story that the other pup “also got a different forever home!! & is going to live the happiest life.”
So happy for those two puppies getting bright new futures.
