Ben & Jerry’s Now Sells Ice Cream For Dogs
Humans and animals have been locked in an eternal struggle ever since we started adopting them as pets. This struggle is very real and it can be hard to overcome. We’ll be on the couch enjoying one of our favorite sweets when our dog comes along looking for a bite. While some of us may break down and let the pup have some ice cream, it is not recommended by vet clinics.
Dogs and dairy do not mix. That’s why we need to make sure that we are providing them with the proper treats. Thankfully, Ben & Jerry’s is here to answer the call.
This iconic ice cream chain has been offering up high-quality desserts for ages now. Now, they are releasing a new line of treats that are specifically designed for your dog to enjoy.
The treats come with a sunflower butter base, which makes them safe for dogs to consume. You will no longer have to fight with your pet when it comes time to have dessert. The line comes with two different flavors to choose from: Pontch’s Mix and Rosie’s Batch.
Pontch’s Mix is made with peanut butter and pretzel swirls, which sounds like a treat for dogs AND humans. Rosie’s Batch is made with pumpkin and mini cookies.
If you would like to take a closer look at the dogs that are responsible for these names, head to the Ben & Jerry’s site as soon as possible. Their office dogs are absolutely adorable.
If you would like to take home some of the Doggie Desserts, head to their website. An individual serving of the ice cream costs $1.29, while a multi pack costs $4.49. This is the perfect treat for your dog to enjoy during a side-by-side snack and television binge. Gone are the days where your pup needs to feel left out!
