Emaciated Kitten Found Hopping Into Cars In Fast Food Parking Lot Looking For Food

A good samaritan stopped for a quick bite to eat at a local McDonald’s, but left with a little kitten.

Beatrix, an abandoned kitten, was found jumping into cars in the parking lot of McDonald’s looking for something to eat. She was brought to the local shelter. The adorable kitten was severely underweight, filled with parasites, and sick with upper respiratory infection. Tigerlily Cat Rescue saved the kitten from the shelter and brought her to a vet where she tested positive for feline leukemia virus(FeLV), a fatal and highly contagious disease in cats.

The tiny kitten was not likely to live past her first birthday. However, she defied the odds and is now three! A foster family came forward to take Beatrix as a companion to their other FeLV positive cat. It took several months to nurse the kitten back to health. She is now a healthy and friendly cat that lives life to the fullest.
