Beagles Rescued From Animal Testing Lab Find Forever Homes
We don’t like to think about it, but the sad reality is that many animals, including dogs, are still used in laboratories across the country.
Animal testing is quite horrific and leaves many poor animals maimed, or worse, as a result of experimentations.
Back in 2018, the Humane Society of the United States went undercover into an animal testing laboratory in Michigan. They then released
” rel=”noopener noreferrer” target=”_blank”>the footage of poor beagles being subjected to a variety of toxicity tests on all sorts of items from pesticides to drugs to dental implants, and so much more.The cruel tests were resulting in thousands of deaths each year.
As soon as the public saw what was going on, there was enough of an outcry to demand change. And that is how 32 beagles were finally freed from the lab that had been their personal torture chamber.
The Michigan Humane Society had managed to free them and get them under their care while they found them the forever homes that they deserved.
