The Chintimini Wildlife Center in Corvallis, Oregon, received a call about a baby great horned owl who had fallen out of his nest. A family found him and knew he was too little to survive on his own. The center took the owl in and provided him with great care. They fed him while wearing masks and gloves so that the own wouldn’t imprint on them.

Once he was healthy, they went on a journey to find out where his home was. After six hours, they found that he had fallen from a nest in a 70-foot-tall tree! Salem, Oregon’s R&R Tree Service used a crane machine to get the baby owl back in his nest. Watch the adorable reunion between him and his family in the video below:
